Get yourself a cooler of ice...and get inside!
Take care of the AC's as they can accumulate a lot of germs - get it checked and cleaned regularly!!! but agree - stay inside!!!!
We are having an approaching cyclone - what now? Any advice?

Be pro-active! Get a generator or if you have one, check that it is in good working order.

Oh dear!!!! it is going to be a long summer for some!!!!!!
It does not really get to "winter" in Mauritius! Winter is supposed to be COLD and that is something that I have not yet experienced in the 2 years that I have been on the island.
I am new to MA & going tropo in this heat!! I like to hang out in the freezer section at supermarkets! Ha! Any other suggestions??

It feels like summer was much cooler this year than the last...or maybe I have become accustomed to the heat by now ;) winter is 3 months away, I am actually looking forward to it!
